Stability analysis of wheat genotypes under rainfed timely sown trials in Northern Hills Zone India by Additive main & multiplicative interactions (AMMI) observed highly significant effects the environment, GxE interaction and during 2018-19 2019-20. The ranking had altered with utilization more number IPCA’s AMMI WAASB measures. Evaluation the Mean Performance and Stability of Rice Genotypes by Combining Features of AMMI and BLUP Techniques and Selection Based on Multiple Traits

Additive main effect and multiplicative interaction (AMMI) and best linear unbiased prediction (BLUP) are two methods for analyzing multi-environment trials (MET). In this study, seven selected rice lines were evaluated along with two check varieties based on randomized complete block design in Tonekabon, Amol and Sari (Iran) in three growing seasons of 2011-14. To quantify the genotypic stabil...

Grain Yield Stability Analysis of Lentil Genotypes by Additive Main Effects and Multiplicative Interactions Model

This paper presents the yields and several stability parameters of additive main effects and multiplicative interactions (AMMI) model in ten improved lentil genotypes which tested in very diverse environmental conditions in Iran. The F-Gollob indicated that first three interaction principle component analysis (IPCA) axis of AMMI model was significant while cross validation procedure through RMS...

Evaluation of genotype × environment interaction using WAASB and WAASBY indices in multi-environment yield trials of rainfed lentil (Lens culinaris L.) genotypes

Combinining features of the best linear unbiased predictions (BLUP) and additive main effects and multiplicative interaction (AMMI) through “Weighted average of absolutescores of best linear unbiased predictions” (WAASB) index in multi-environment experiments may lead to more percise evaluation of genotypes and assessment of genotype × environment interaction. In the present study, the seed yiel...

stability of bean (phaseoulus vulgaris l.) genotypes in common bacterial blight condition using regression analysis, the additive main effects and multiplicative interactions (ammi) and muir methods

common bacterial blight (cbb) caused by xanthomonas axonopodis pv. phaseoli is a serious disease of bean fields in iran and the world. chemical control of cbb is inefficient, therefore the use of resistant genotypes with stability production is the most suitable alternative. stability and adaptability of 26 bean genotypes yield in the presence and absence of cbb were evaluated in agricultural r...

Adapting best linear unbiased prediction (BLUP) for timely genetic evaluation: II. Progeny traits in multiple contemporary groups within a herd.

The second step of a procedure to partially circumvent the voluminous calculations for some BLUP (Best Linear Unbiased Prediction) computing algorithms for genetic evaluation is presented. In addition, the procedure allows timely evaluations of each contemporary group. This procedure is pertinent especially for polytocous species such as swine and poultry, for which the occurrence of full-sib f...
